Speakeasy holds special events
The events created by Speakeasy aim to offer the student a unique opportunity to practice the knowledge acquired in the classroom within an environment that promotes the practice of the studied language through special activities, whether sports, cultural or gastronomic, always very fun. The student has the feeling of experiencing the experience of being in another country in these events that still provide moments of integration between family and school.
BARBECUE
Barbecue is a Welcome Party (Welcome Party), which traditionally takes place at the beginning of each school year, whose main objective is to provide the interaction of parents, students and teachers at the school. At the event, we serve hamburgers and fries outdoors, as American families do in their backyards.
IMMERSION
Differentiated opportunity to practice the knowledge acquired in the classroom within an environment that promotes the practice of the English language through sports activities.
The student has the feeling of experiencing the experience of being in another country, as the official language of the event is English all the time.
Students are accommodated in accommodation.
HALLOWEEN
Halloween is a celebration of Anglo-Saxon countries that has been gaining notoriety for some years, all over the world for its characteristic of fun and the use of costumes.
Halloweek is a combination of the words Halloween + week (week), which refers to a whole week of activities and games designed to celebrate the traditional Halloween Day.
There are several Halloweek activities: Every year a special program is held, offering students opportunities to experience and experience situations that have to do with the culture of other countries, for example:
GINCANA MONSTRO – where groups of the same level compete to win a prize in games including the content covered during the year. In 2021, exclusive online games were created in which all students at the school participated, from children to older adults, creating teams, dressing up and using the knowledge they learned during the year in the competition.
ABANDONED CEMETERY TRAIL - with scary characters in an out-of-school experience.
TRICK OR TREAT – Every year students go out to order candy in the American tradition. In 2020, due to the pandemic, an inverted Trick or Treat was held, in a Drive Thru format, where the school offered sweets to the participants.
HOLYWINS – Another combination of words HOLY (sacred) + WINS (wins), this is a solidarity campaign that takes place during Halloween and every year aims to help one or several institutions in the municipality. The objective is to encourage the spirit of solidarity.

In 2020 the HOME HALLOWEEK was held, with a special program aimed at social distancing:
HOLYWINS: each teacher invited the community to help the institution to identify itself and practice a solidarity action. Italiano's group received an Honorable Mention for its prominence in action.
TIE-DYE WORKSHOP: in person and online with fashion and design student Fabiana Tomé.
DRINK PREPARATION WORKSHOP in partnership with Celebar and Daniela Ballardin Miotto.
COSTUME CUSTOMIZATION WORKSHOP with Cos Play Nadine Rech.
HALLOWEEN MAKEUP WORKSHOP with designer Ana Thereza Bernardi.
HALLOWEEK GAMES with games specially designed for different levels and languages to compete with each other. (It's all an event only -general programming).
TGI FRIDAY
Launched in 2011, yet another opportunity to experience cultures from different countries and at the same time have moments of leisure, TGI Friday is an opportunity for conversation where a guest talks about their experience abroad. Most of the time, they are former students who offer an account of their experience and experience abroad.
HOLIDAY COLONY IN PARTNERSHIP WITH AMSM SUMMER CAMP
Speakeasy offers English workshops such as Treasure Hunt – Treasure Hunt, International Sports Workshops, among other fun activities based on the American schools' summer camps, offering English content in a fun way to Summer Camp participants, in partnership with AMSM.
CLOSING DINNER AND COURSE COMPLETION CEREMONY
The course completion ceremony is held with the classes as soon as they complete the courses.
At this dinner, one student from each class is also awarded a certificate of outstanding student performance during the study period.
